CovaiTaxi Driver Wallet Refund Policy

CovaiTaxi is an online platform where, we strive to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our drivers. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to the driver wallet system.

Eligibility for Refunds

Drivers may be eligible for a refund from their wallet balance under the following circumstances:

Service error

If CovaiTaxi fails to deliver a service for which the driver has been charged (e.g., overcharging, duplicate deductions).

Termination of service

If a driver discontinues using CovaiTaxi and requests to withdraw their remaining wallet balance.

Non-Refundable Amounts

Certain amounts are non-refundable

Bonus or promotional credits

Funds added to the wallet through promotions, bonuses, or rewards cannot be refunded or withdrawn.

Administrative fees

Any fees incurred through services provided by CovaiTaxi, including processing fees, on-boarding fees are non-refundable.

Refund Process

To request a refund, the driver must:

Submit a refund request via the CovaiTaxi Driver Support Portal or email [info@covaitaxi.com].

Provide relevant details, including transaction IDs, dates, reasons for the refund and Bank details for processing refund

Allow up to 7 business days for the review and processing of the request.

Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed directly to the bank account.

Timeline for Refunds

Refunds are typically processed within 7-14 business days from the date the request is approved.

Discrepancies and Disputes

In case of any discrepancies or disputes regarding wallet balances or transactions:

Drivers should contact CovaiTaxi support within 30 days of the transaction.

All disputes will be handled in accordance with the terms of service and will follow a detailed investigation process.

The final decision made at the conclusion of the investigation process will be binding and must be adhered to by both parties.

Termination or Suspension of Account

If a driver account is terminated or suspended due to policy violations, CovaiTaxi reserves the right to hold or deny any pending refunds until a full review is conducted.

Modifications to Policy

CovaiTaxi reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Drivers will be notified of significant changes via email or through the app. The updated policy will take effect immediately upon notification.
